To get started, it’s so easy – all you do is register, and follow the directions on the site. But before you do, decide right now how it’s going to fit in with your overall marketing strategy. Whether you’re going to combine it with YouTube, Digg, Reddit, Twitter, Stumbleupon – and all your other regular social media sites. One thing that happened to me, when I started using Scribd… I discovered I didn’t need to work quite so hard on all my regular sites. For one thing, Scribd allows me to cross-link to Facebook and Twitter! And sharing documents became not only much easier, but gave me greater freedom. The types of documents I could create gave me more leeway than ever before. The thing I like best, however? You can keep right on using your regular, favorite document creation applications! You can share your documents in almost any file format, and embed photographs and links. (Just make sure you follow the guidelines, before you try anything new.
